Journey to Bridge of Dreams

Experience a fantastic journey into the heart of Shizuoka.

Wind through stunning countryside on a steam locomotive train on your way to Kawane.

While there experience the hospitality of locals and a true farm to table experience. For day 2 the stunning ‘Bridge of Dreams’ and quaint Sumatakyo Onsen offer a combination of natural beauty, a light hike, and relaxation.

After lunch and an onsen start the journey back to your final destination for the evening.

Day 1

Trains to Shin Kanaya Station

Bus to Sumatakyo Onsen

Bridge-of-DreamsTake a bus to Sumatakyo and take the 30 min walk down to the stunning ‘Bridge of Dreams’.




Enjoy a local lunch & hot spring

Local-OnsenEat lunch with the locals, wander through Sumatakyo Onsen Village and enjoy an onsen or foot bath.



Bus Journey

Train-JourneyTake the bus back to Senzu Station and connect to a local train back to Kanaya Station.
