BANJYO CANYON course is a half-day canyoning tour at the top of the Izu Peninsula.

It is an ideal tour for first time water canyoning in Japan.

The canyon has very clear water pools and enjoyable waterfall sliders and you can see many wildlife and plants.


Explanation of the tour and changing clothing

Medical check

After changing it is a 15 min walk upstream to the start point.

Safety explanation at the river bank.

After starting the tour, you will be in the river for about an hour and a half.

After reaching the goal, you come back to the meeting point and change.

Enjoy refreshing and moisture Izu natural environment.

Take Izuhakone line to Shuzenji Station (the end of this line) Then take a taxi to Banjyonotaki camping ground (about 30 min / 4,000 yen)

About 1 hour from Shin-Tomei Expressway (Nagaizumi Numazu I.C) or Tomei (Numazu IC) – GOOGLE MAP


– Pregnant women cannot participate.
– If you have been drinking, deemed to be intoxicated or badly hungover you will not be able to participate.
– Over 90kg weight persons cannot participate.

What to bring :
– Swimwear & Towel
– If you wear glasses, please bring strap.
– If you use contact lenses, bring swimming goggles.
